My time at Shippensburg University molded my analytical and critical thinking skills as I learned to communicate clearly and in an accessible manner. I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge as a Spanish and History minor which diversified my understanding of the world.
Leadership Experience

Editor-in-Chief
As Editor-in-Chief of The Reflector, our on-campus Journal of the Arts, I led the call for student submissions of prose, poetry, and art while delegating tasks and spearheading the annual publication.

Business Director
In my role as Business Director of WSYC 88.7 FM, our college radio station, I balanced our annual budget and ensured payments were met on time. I also provided input on fundraising and prize opportunities for radio engagement.

Writing Fellow
As a Writing Fellow I was a specialized writing tutor that worked with the introductory English classes both directly in the classroom and in individualized meetings. I worked with 5-10 students to assist their proofreading abilities, but more importantly I helped them gained confidence in their voices as writers.

Associate Art Editor
During my time as Associate Art Editor of The Reflector, I honed my skills in Office to create our annual Spawning Pool publication of student art work, as well as assisted my Editor in advertisement and cover development.
Skills & Expertise
Microsoft Office: I hold a strong competency due to my experience in creating books for publication under The Reflector.

Google Suite: Due to my time as Business Director, I hold confidence in these products such as Excel and Documents after budget maintenance and justifications.

Editing: These skills, including proofreading and citation skills, specifically MLA and Chicago, have all been honed due to classes necessary for my degree and through my extracurriculars which focused on publication.

Communication: One of my strong suits after experience with the Shippensburg Print Shop for Spawning Pool publications, continued with Mercersburg Publishing for The Reflector publications.

Bilingualism: With the privilege of studying under native speakers, I claim a proficiency in Spanish as a second language.
